Cream Cheese Fruit Dip Recipe

This easy and creamy fruit dip is made with cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla, making it the perfect complement to fresh fruit or cookies.

Equipment

  • Hand mixer or whisk
  • Measuring cups/spoons

Ingredients

  • 8 oz 1 block cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream optional, for extra creaminess
  • 1 –2 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional, for added sweetness
  • Zest of ½ an orange or lemon optional, for a citrus twist

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until fully combined.
  • If using, mix in Greek yogurt or sour cream for extra creaminess.
  • Add honey or maple syrup if a sweeter dip is desired.
  • Stir in citrus zest for a refreshing twist (optional).
  • Transfer to a serving bowl, chill for at least 15 minutes, and serve with your favorite fresh fruit!

Notes

• Make it lighter by using low-fat cream cheese or substituting half with Greek yogurt.
• For extra flavor, mix in a pinch of cinnamon or almond extract.
• Pair with strawberries, apple slices, grapes, banana slices, pineapples, or melon.
• For a fluffier texture, fold in ½ cup of whipped cream or whipped topping.
