Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer or whisk
  • Rubber spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board
  • Serving bowl or individual cups

Ingredients

  • 1 package 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 container 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups seedless grapes halved
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 bananas sliced (add just before serving)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans optional

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth and well combined.
  • Fold the cream cheese mixture into the prepared pudding until completely incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  • Add the strawberries, pineapple chunks, halved grapes, and blueberries to the creamy mixture. Fold gently to combine without crushing the fruits.
  • Stir in the mini marshmallows and chopped pecans if using.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  • Just before serving, fold in the sliced bananas to prevent browning.
  • Serve chilled in individual bowls or cups.

Notes

Use only instant pudding mix for proper consistency
Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for smooth mixing
Pat fruits dry before adding to prevent excess moisture
The salad tastes best when chilled for several hours before serving
